Today, we had a great turnout for our Best Practices in Automaticng your Supply Chain testing. One of the areas of interest was automating the population and analysis of testing results from PeopleTools 8.51 testing framework. Today, I was helping a customer configure our Desktop Single Signon product for use with nVision. Because this was a brand-new machine where nVision had never been run, he kept encountering the error PS/nVision is not configured properly on this workstation. He was amazed when I gave him the solution: drop into a windows command shell and type PSNVS.EXE /register Magically, nVision started to work. Huh? Why? In our recent "What's New With PeopleTools" webinar, one of the things that we showed is a slight change in navigation from PeopleTools 8.50.In PeopleTools 8.50, the default navigation changed from the classic left-hand navigation menu to drop down menus from the top of the page. Clicking on the drop down menu from the top of the page the list of submenus and direct links would show up.When submenus were available, PeopleTools 8.50 would display the popout submenu when your mouse hovered over the submenu text (with a short delay before activating). …
