As the lead technologist for Reporting, Larry has had the opportunity to set the vision and direction of PeopleSoft's reporting, Business Intelligence, and Data Warehousing Strategy for the past 9 years. During Brian's 18 year career in software, he has been involved in ground breaking projects in both Business Intelligence and Web-based business applications. For the past 5 years, Brian was a Senior Software Architect for NetSuite, the leading web-based software provider for small to medium-sized businesses. During his tenure, he architected and implemented a scalable real-time component-based reporting infrastructure as well as several modules including Payroll and NetSuite's initial CRM implementation.
While at PeopleSoft, Brian was the lead developer for the
Reporting and Analysis team. In addition to driving the architecture of
all of PeopleSoft's reporting and analysis offerings, Brian created and
developed both the Open Query API driver (which is the primary
extraction API into PeopleSoft data) and Cube Manager (which is the
primary means of building OLAP cubes from PeopleSoft data). His work
was crucial to PeopleSoft's Budgeting and EPM products.

During Chris's tenure at PeopleSoft, Chris has managed the PeopleTools strategy group, acted as PeopleSoft's technology architect and evangelist, and presented at countless conferences and user group meetings on all aspects of PeopleSoft's technology infrastructure, including:

Jerry Platz joins Grey Sparling after recently leaving his CTO position at Calpont Corporation, a hardware/dbms appliance company he co-founded in 2002. With more than 22 years experience in the database/data warehousing industries, Jerry has worked for both Oracle and PeopleSoft to build and market world-class DW/OLAP products, analytical applications and tools for both companies.
Jerry started the Oracle Industry Vertical groups, as well as, Oracle's first Data Warehouse Global Center of Excellence and Oracle’s BI&W Global Service Line. Later he became senior product director for the CRM Global Group and built several application data warehouse products. During a two year intermission from Oracle, Jerry joined PeopleSoft as product strategist and PeopleTools development manager for the Data Warehouse and OLAP Tools. Many will remember Jerry and Brian Sparling as the co-producers of Cube Manager.
